| Bumblebabies, located in Bay Shore, New York is the largest independently owned toy and children's clothing store on Long Island. Nicki O'Connell, owner of Bumblebabies, opened her doors in May of 2000 and Bumblebabies has been growing ever since. The idea for Bumblebabies came from many sources. Nicki loves nostalgic toys that remind her of her childhood, especially Slinkies and Mr. Potato Head! Before becoming a mom, Nicki owned a successful women's and children's clothing store called Bumbleberry's located in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. But after her experiences with her three growing children, she started Bumblebabies to focus on children's needs only, as well as the young at heart!
Bumblebabies has an incredible atmosphere where kids can browse and even adults are seen playing with all the toys.
